Check the promise against the search intent

Write down the question your title promises to answer. Read each heading and ask whether it helps answer that question. A how-to article needs instructions; a comparison needs criteria and evidence. Remove unrelated sections even if they sound polished, and move the direct answer close to the beginning.

Replace generalities with useful examples

Mark sentences such as “this improves efficiency” and ask what happens in practice. Add an example, decision rule or sequence the reader can use.
